Hip Hooray for Friday! (wink wink). I'm looking forward to a carefree weekend. I don't have much for plans, I will be working in my yard planting flowers + veggies and kicking back at the beach! I could also stand to fold (never ending) a little laundry and squeeze in a workout or two but besides that I am looking forward to some needed down time. I had a productive week and my new assistant started..so that is exciting!! Welcome Lindsey, thrilled to have you on board! Here's my love list for this week: 1. 'Tis the season for having guests. I love creating a welcoming bedside table for myself and others. This lamp and table work beautifully together. 2. I won't share the exact one (out of privacy) but I selected a Linda Colletta piece last week for one of my clients!! I am LOVING her work!!! 3. #truth...life is a work in progress... 4. Wow, Have I really posted 40 amazing cottages on my blog?? I hope to share forty more! It's my favorite time of year! There is a certain energy about the summer that feels "care free". Don't get me wrong, I still run around and work like crazy but weekends are all about lazy days on the beach and evenings are homework free and consist of causal cookouts with a little more rose!! ;) I love Jenny Wolf's restrained, cohesive interiors..Here's a peek at her beautiful Hamptons home. Hello. I missed you all this week. Blogging is actually my little slice of peace each day. It's escapism at it's best and this week was coo coo. I love a Saturday with no plans and that is exactly what I am having. My kids are eating m + m's and watching cartoons but hey sometimes a Mommy needs a break and if that is what it takes, then so be it!! Here is the latest and greatest: 1. These colorful tassel earrings would perfectly complete a simple outfit. I am not afraid of color, especially during the Summer months. 2. It's been a tough week all around. The news has been horrific. We are bombarded with differing opinions daily. I just can't surround myself with what I perceive to be negative ones.
