Hip Hooray for Friday! (wink wink). I'm looking forward to a carefree weekend. I don't have much for plans, I will be working in my yard planting flowers + veggies and kicking back at the beach! I could also stand to fold (never ending) a little laundry and squeeze in a workout or two but besides that I am looking forward to some needed down time. I had a productive week and my new assistant started..so that is exciting!! Welcome Lindsey, thrilled to have you on board! Here's my love list for this week: 1. 'Tis the season for having guests. I love creating a welcoming bedside table for myself and others. This lamp and table work beautifully together. 2. I won't share the exact one (out of privacy) but I selected a Linda Colletta piece last week for one of my clients!! I am LOVING her work!!! 3. #truth...life is a work in progress... 4. How cute is Joni Mitchell? Stay tuned for a movie about her life. 5. I love this entire look and may need to wear it this weekend

Wow, Have I really posted 40 amazing cottages on my blog?? I hope to share forty more! It's my favorite time of year! There is a certain energy about the summer that feels "care free". Don't get me wrong, I still run around and work like crazy but weekends are all about lazy days on the beach and evenings are homework free and consist of causal cookouts with a little more rose!! ;) I love Jenny Wolf's restrained, cohesive interiors..Here's a peek at her beautiful Hamptons home. Hello. I missed you all this week. Blogging is actually my little slice of peace each day. It's escapism at it's best and this week was coo coo. I love a Saturday with no plans and that is exactly what I am having. My kids are eating m + m's and watching cartoons but hey sometimes a Mommy needs a break and if that is what it takes, then so be it!! Here is the latest and greatest: 1. These colorful tassel earrings would perfectly complete a simple outfit. I am not afraid of color, especially during the Summer months. 2. It's been a tough week all around. The news has been horrific. We are bombarded with differing opinions daily. I just can't surround myself with what I perceive to be negative ones. I like this sentiment and most of the Dalai's thoughts.  3. School is out, so beach season has officially begun. Speaking of peace, I feel so calm by the ocean. ( I am on the hunt for the best cast cover for my daughter!!) 4. I never seem to tire of blue and white str

 I've been neck deep in fabulous design work with wonderful clients and to top it off my poor little Emerson fell off the monkey bars and broke her arm pretty badly. (right before swim season to boot). I'm staying positive and wanted to share this girly gorgeous kitchen with y'all. I've been eyeing pink all day while I scout furniture for an exciting project. One King's Lane is killing it lately with not only their product but their home tours. My latest favorite is of Sue De Chiara's fabulous home. Her mix of color, texture and accessories packs the perfect amount of punch in her family home. She also has a great blog and shop  - The Zhush.   Lauren Muse helped her with the project... Speaking of projects I have a slew of photoshoots lined up for the summer!! Can't wait to share the goodness..
